Hart of Dixie, despite some truly horrible Southern accents and trite culture-clash clichés, is exactly the sort of show that sucks me in. Sweet, adorable intelligent woman (played by the always infectious Rachel Bilson) attempting to make her mark on the world, while also surrounded by sweet, adorable intelligent men? Yes, please! Add in interpersonal family drama, plus love shenanigans, not to mention medical mysteries and crazy townfolk, and I have myself a possible Gilmore Girls replacement, albeit with less wit and substance. Actually, maybe it’s more like a Felicity replacement…

Anyhow, though I’m admittedly a few episodes behind, I will definitely not be doing dishes or paying bills while catching up (*cough cough* The Ringer). No, I’ll be giggling and smiling and hoping that Zoe Hart not only saves the day and wins her new townsfolk over, but also gets some smooches on the side.
