As I wrote about last week, I spend every February watching lots and lots of movies in anticipation of the Academy Awards. However, I’m not sure how many of the remaining films I’ll get reviewed. I just found out that a friend has passed away suddenly at the young age of 41. Instead of sitting in a dark theater, losing myself to movie magic, I will be attending his memorial, thinking of his loved ones and of lives ended too early.
Life is filled with uncertainty. Do what you can with the time you have.
